Thanks for visiting my digital home. Here you will learn more about my life as a faculty member at The College of Wooster. I created this website to share my academic life with you – the enjoyment and energy that I get from my teaching, research, and service opportunities every week. I have been at Wooster since the summer of 2008, and I have had the opportunity to work with fantastic colleagues and students through the years.
You will notice two themes as you browse through these pages. First, I have training in science education, so teaching is a major part of my life, both during the academic year and the summer months. Second, I am a classically trained field geologist, with field skills that emphasize structural geology/tectonics and sedimentology/stratigraphy. Many of my research projects and the research projects of my undergraduate students at Wooster touch on one of these categories, using Utah as a central location for much of our work.
